Hi Craig, after chatting with you at the AfP meeting in DC, I have just made a $50 donation (though I did donate last year also) as I think it is important to support this important network. Thanks for all your work.

Hi Craig

I've just created this new discussion here:

Would that be possible to promote it in the newsletter? I appreciate your great work, thanks a lot.

 Dear Craig,

thanks for the great work you are doing for us,we are moving out of the box, African box,American boxes European box,Asia and Austria boxes; if we are connected and properly linked then we can rightly say,we are in a global village,we are getting  more connected due to the information you are ever generating and disseminating to the global world, getting connected is a powerful tool to eradicate poverty and to steer people to sustainable development, eradicate violence, corruption, human greed, selfishness, dictatorship  and terrorism one can not fail to achieve sustainable development for all. I have been following your work for more than a year it is really amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!keep it up.

Best regards;Kaganga John, farmer, professional food security fellow, environment activists and a founder of Kikandwa Environmental Association in Uganda.

Hi Craig. As promised, I already have the piece. How should I send it to you?

At 3:33pm on June 26, 2012, Luis Antonio Ordonez said…

It sounds good Craig. I am going to start working on the first piece, which I think will be about Rio+20 and the role that Colombia played by proposing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), already approved and included in The Future We Want final document. I will send you the document at the end of the next week. Luis Antonio.

Hi Craig, I first apologize for not having replied your message before. Second, thank you for giving me the opportunity of publishing some updates about Colombia and the peace/development process on the PCDN network. Since I joined it, I have spread the word about the job you are doing through PCDN. It is a pleasure for me to continue doing so.

I have few questions about the updates:

1. Since my work is more related to development, I suggest doing updates about discrimination, sustainability, displacement and some other topics I am more familiar with, and not exclusively about the peace process. What do you think?

2. You mention doing some blogging, so I understand I could write in general terms regular articles (500 words approx.) about these topics. Would this be correct?

3. How often would you need them?

4. I am confident about my English proficiency, but for publishing I might need the support of a native speaker proof reading the documents. Could some one of your team do that?

Luis Antonio

Hi Craig, So long!!! Thanks for the Network (PCDN). Although I can afford the payment, online transactions, card payments options are not very secured and advisable for us in this part of the world (Liberia).... However, I am disposed to supporting the Network, and I'll see how I can practicalize that perhaps in the not-too-distant future. I was thinking you could advise or help me with some leads/links/contacts to explore the possibility of starting my PhD. I've been searching for PhD fellowships in peace, security & development studies or related areas (peace-building, conflict resolution, etc), but as at yet, I've not been successful to land (be awarded any). I will be most grateful for any small/big help in this direction.   I recently completed a second Master's in conflict & development at King's College (London) through a fellowship with the Conflict, Security & Development Group (CSDG)/African Leadership Centre (ALC), Department of War Studies, King's College. As part of this programme, I'm presently concluding a six (6) month affiliation at the Obafemi Awolowo University in the Department of International Relations. Hope to hear from you ASAP. Regards and best wishes, Raymond Da-boi (from Liberia)

Hey Craig - Currently I am project managing communications/fundraising pieces for not-for-profits. I'd like to move into some field work though, before I go on and do a masters.
