Two countries in the world have developed a media and propaganda power to transform every criticism of their policies into a sentiment of being victimised as a nation - the United States and Israel. Let's use the day for constructive commemoration - always thinking in terms of Gandhi's "constructive program".

Let's make sure that Gandhi's thinking and work is translated into an inspiration in the struggle for less violence in today's world - rather than making him an object in a museum or a sectarian leader.

Look up to see the big picture.

Today I received an invitation from Stephen to be his friend. That brougth me back to the network (I have to aknowledge that I have not stopped 'in' for awhile. That made me realize that once again that in the flod of the daily things, I forget to stop and just take in the bigger picture. It is amazing what you notice when you just step back and observe.
