Sigrid Gruener Agerberg is a professional trainer, researcher and practitioner in the field of development, peacebuilding and conflict transformation. Her primary areas of interest and expertise are in conflict assessment, civil society capacity strengthening and conflict sensitivity in humanitarian and development assistance. She has practical experience designing and delivering training workshops on these topics in Iraq, Jordan, Mexico, Panama, Timor Leste, the United States and The West Bank. Mrs. Gruener Agerberg has taught graduate level seminars on conflict assessment at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), Columbia University’s School of Continuing Education and at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

I am currently looking for consultants with experience there to carry an evaluation of the programme of the Norwegian Refugee Council.
maybe you know some people who might be interested in joining a team for a duration of 7 weeks between end of May to beginning of July 2009.

I would really appreciate if you could pass this around your network:
we are looking for two consultants with:

- Knowledge of humanitarian assistance in emergency/ transitional settings
- Background in evaluations of humanitarian assistance in political and security sensitive situations, preferably from this region
- Methodology to be inclusive of all parties, enhancing learning as well as an emphasis on accountability
- Proven analytical skills
- Knowledge of gender mainstreaming/targeting
- Knowledge of shelter programming and camp management methodology
- Excellent English skills
