"How very ironic to post this program information today, May 15, which is the day of the Palestinian Nakba -- the  commemoration of the forced migration of 750,000 Palestinians, who have now grown to millions of Palestinian refugees."

Filling a void in universities in Israel, the Middle East and around the globe, the International MA Program in Migration Studies is an interdisciplinary, one year graduate degree focused on international migration. Taught by experts in the field at one of the world’s leading Social Sciences Faculty, this program brings the experience of a country that was built on migrants into the classroom. Practical courses give students the opportunity to expand their real-life skills and expertise to pursue careers in public policy, international affairs, politics, academia, and non-profits. With courses ranging from Migrants, Asylum Seekers and Refugees: Legal and Ethical Issues, and Ethnic Identification in the Context of Migration, students get to experience this field through multiple lenses in order to fully explore the complexities of these issues. Through this program, our diverse student body gains the theories, tools and hands-on experience to explore the newest trends, compare immigration policies and debate some of the most controversial issues in today’s globalized world.
