Independent Library Consultant, retired as University Librarian after 27 years of service in 2011. Hold ALA Acredeted graduate degree in Library Science. Awarded Fulbright fellowship in 2007, Attended Leadership institute for Academic Librarians at Graduate School of Education, Harvard University 2008.
Presently engaged in Humanresource Development activities for librarians. Special interest in use of Web 2.0 technologies and Social Media for library services.
I enjoy library management and automation as my technical interests. I work on user awareness programs, workshops and seminars for faculty students and business. Use of Electronic resource and building library digital collections with open access, web resources and subscribed resources using library software and Bibliographic standards like MARC 21, Dublin Core, RDA and MODS, EAD
