I obtained my BA in Economics from Los Andes University in Colombia and my Master Degree in Political Sciences and International relations from Sciences Po Paris, where I am currently a PhD candidate in International Relations under the direction of Professor G. Devin. My research interests are international cooperation and development process in conflict regions.
I have been Visiting Scholar at Columbia University in NY (2008), and visting fellow at the CINEP (Centro de Investigacion para la Educacion popular) in Bogota (2010). I have worked as an adviser for the Presidential Program against Illicit Crops in Colombia (PCI, 2006), also as a consultant at ‘Econometria’ consulting group (2006) and at the IRSEM (French Insitute for Strategic research at the Ministry of Defense, 2010). During my Master I worked as a junior researcher for the Senegalese Institute of Agricultural Research in Dakar (2003-2004).
