I am the Executive Director of Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBB) and a member of MBB’s Colombia project team. From 1989-2009, I was the Executive Director of Community Mediation, Inc., a nonprofit community mediation center in New Haven, Connecticut. I was a founding Board member of the National Association for Community Mediation (NAFCM) in 1993, and was Co-Chair of NAFCM’s Board of Directors from 1999-2001. I currently am also an Adjunct Professor and Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Center on Dispute Resolution, Quinnipiac University School of Law.

MBB brings together mediators and allied professionals to volunteer worldwide to collaborate on building conflict resolution capacity in underserved areas to make local peace-building more effective and sustainable. MBB advocates to advance the use of mediation to resolve public policy disputes and other conflicts.
