Began my first experience working with international civil society at the Refugee Council fifteen years ago. Since then have worked with Universities, NGOs, governments, foundations, international organizations and research institutes on a variety of peace and conflict related issues.

I lived and worked in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Ireland, Kenya, UK, US. I have experience of a number of other Central and Eastern African countries and also some Asian and Eurasian experience. I don't think there is really any substitute for living in a place for a significant amount of time to gain real 'experience'
