Political scientist from ITAM in Mexico and PhD in Humanities from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra at Barcelona. I made my PhD research on the effects and consequences of 9-11 from an ethical and political point of view. I'm a professor on the Master on security Policies at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.

I am a cofounder of Nuestra Aparente Rendición, which is a Peace Platform that was born to reflect and create knowledge about the state of violence in Mexico. I'm content editor and peace proposals coordinator of the site of the association.
