What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?: For more than 20 years Sri Lanka is undergoing a civil war, resulted in distruction in Social, Economical and Political structures of the society. As a development worker I would like to share my experiences and learn from the others.

Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself (no more than 3 paragraphs): I hold a bachelors degree in Social Science and currently reading for Masters Degree in Development Studies and Public Policy.
My areas of interests are Gender and Development, Human Rights, & Governance.

It would my great pleasure if you can introduce me with your friend (urban planner) who is working at University of Moratuwa. I can remember one of my Professor at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, Mr Perera. He is from SL and an Urban Planner.

Also, 2-3 months ago few scientists from the department of agriculture , SL came to Hyderabad where we met to discuss on Micro garden, Urban Agriculture etc.

I am hopeful we will get some opprtunity to work together. I am looking forward to that days.
