What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
In the corner of the globe where I hail from, the former is elusive and approaches to the latter are delusive, hence my enduring search for answers.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself (no more than 3 paragraphs)
Sabiiti is a Ugandan researcher/consultant based at the Conflict, Security and Development Research Group at the Department of War Studies, Kings College London. He is also a Programme Associate, Peace and Security Program of the London based advocacy organisation, Justice Africa. His interests are conflict modelling and early warning, conflict analysis, strategic security analysis and development policy.

He is a graduate of Kabamba Military Cantonment (KAMILICA), Uganda; the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, UK; United States Army Soldier Support Institute, Ft Benjamin Harrison, Indiana; the United States Army Adjutant General School, Ft Jackson, South Carolina and the Tanzania Military Academy, Arusha.

Sabiiti holds an MA Conflict, Security and Development (Distinction) from Kings College, London.

Hello Sabiiti!
Long time no see! How are you where are you? Still in London? How is your research evolving?
Fortunately the pic is from summer vacations in 2007 in the Greek island of Milos not the Navy (us conscripts mainly get land station duty)! I hadn't been on vacation in a long while and Milos was perfect!
