Profile

What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
A belief that a healthy, happy and peaceful world for all its people is possible - and a desire to help people inspire others to work toward that ultimate goal. Without peace and conflict resolution at our core, activists can't really move forward or be effective. So, I felt it was time to focus more on that than just the issues and problems.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself (no more than 3 paragraphs)
For the past 20 years, I've been combining artistry & activism to call attention to important social issues. I founded Design for Social Impact in 1996 to help tell the story of the public interest movement - in all its forms - by helping groups get their word out in the best way possible. I believe that stories and symbols are the most effective way to help people understand issues and move them to positive action. So, we help promote a healthy, happy and peaceful world through communication: striking visuals, strong messages and organizing to get the word out.

Dear Ennis,
I am privileged to be able to communicate with you through this network of people who are working toward conflict resolution, peacebuilding and devleopment. I think your dfsi is really doing important works. I also believe that stories and symbols are the most effective way to help people understand issues and move them to positive action.
I hope that we could help each other by exchanging and sharing information, insights and learning.
I look forward to keeping in touch with you and hearing from you too.

Warm regards,
Bobichand
