Mr. Francis Acquah, Jnr is a graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He has a BA (Hons) in French and Geography (Major in Rural Development) and also has a Higher Diploma in French Studies from the Cheikh Anta Diop University, Dakar, Senegal.
He has a certificate in Youth Transforming conflict from The Network University (an online training) in The Netherlands, and also an Executive Certificate in Workshop Facilitation Skills. He is currently preparing to complete his thesis in Mphil French at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Francis served as an Intern with the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP) in September 2003 working on the Active Non-violence and Peace Education Programme which is now the Youth and Peace Education Programme. He is also serving on the ECOWAS Pilot Unit for the Monitoring of Free Movement of Persons and goods at the Aflao border in Ghana. He is currently the Programme Officer of WANEP and a member of the Peace Education Reference Group of the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC).

I'm studying Comparative legal systems at Tulane Law School and am very interested in Human Rights and Mediation and Negotiation.
