Profile

What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
My previous studies in political science, philosophy, and history have moved me to see the value of conflict resolution in a world that is becoming progressively more entangled in inter-ethnic and inter-religious violence.

I was born in Long Beach, California, and continued to live in Los Angeles county for 18 years. I left to pursue my undergraduate degree at the University of Scranton. In addition, I worked at the Department of Defense's Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies in the summer of 2006, and hope to return to DoD this summer.

Ultimately I wish to enter employment at either the Department of State, or Defense.
