Profile

What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I live in Israel, and I believe in dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians and the resolution of the conflict here via a two-state solution.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I moved to Israel in 2007 to study at the Pardes Institute, a Jewish learning institute, and intern at the Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel (www.icci.org.il), which conducts dialogue groups for religious leaders, youth and young adults and women from the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religions in Israel.

Before the summer of 2007 I worked as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Theater J (www.theaterj.org) a Jewish theater based in the Washington DC Jewish Community Center. This theater has been lauded for its risk-taking programming and ability to approach the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with a critical and unflinching eye. In the summer of 2007, Theater J launched a Middle East Festival, whose contributers included Jewish and Arab artists grappling with conflict and identity.

Prior to Theater J, I worked in, McKinney and Associates, a public relations firm focused on civil rights and social justice issues, and 20/20 Vision, an environmental and global security organization (www.2020vision.org).
