YOUTH ZONES is a film and poetry initiative by Lisa Russell for UNFPA and the Women's Refugee Commission that gives a voice to young people from Colombia, Lebanon, Liberia, New Orleans, and Northern Uganda, who share stories of struggle and resilience in the face of conflicts and natural disasters.

This is a film I did in partnership with UNFPA and the Women's Refugee Commission. Please note, we will be launching the YOUTH ZONES website in early 2011 that will include poetry written by participating youth, fact sheets and lists of screenings, etc.
