TED Talk: Bandi Mbubi: Demand a fair trade cell phone

Your mobile phone, computer and game console have a bloody past — tied to tantalum mining, which funds the war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Drawing on his personal story, activist and refugee Bandi Mbubi gives a stirring call to action. (Filmed at TEDxExeter.)

Bandi Mbubi would like to make sure that you are using a fair trade cell phone

This a piece that has gone missing in the dramatic situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Congolese need to learn how to speak to people about their country, the situation in there in order to touch the hearts of the rest of the world. BandiMbubi is on the right track. The Diaspora has got a tremendous role to play in making the situation in Congo known. Thank you Man. It was great listening to you.
