We ask why Aid, far from liberating people from poverty, is leading to less growth, more poverty and spiraling debt.

Comment by marja-riitta Ritanoro on February 18, 2013 at 2:48am Sweden gives 1 %. Is it not the best country but at the same time there has not been transparency, so we know where money is landing. Kenya has big problem with fraud and corruption because UN is there. I have experienced it. Poor people are poor because of corruption.
Comment by Nora Lester Murad on February 18, 2013 at 2:44am I'm glad you liked the show, Khalid. The hard part is empowering Palestinians to have the courage to say "no" to bad aid, which is the only way we'll ever pressure the aid system to change. But we're working on it!
Comment by marja-riitta Ritanoro on February 18, 2013 at 2:44am Why cant we get AID to educate people. Teacher are groundpillars of knowledge that give children and adults new knowledge. Thats economical growth in alla countries in Nordic European countries as Finland and Sweden. Why not give vocational education too. Its just talk and Aid industry is to blame too.
Comment by Khalid on February 17, 2013 at 11:17pm Spledid delivery there by Nora from Jerusalem. Allan will not agree, of course, to the real facts about what constitutes "development" to a Palestinian, and what his government and their associates are doing wrong there, and thereby contributing to the suffering of Palestinians. In our world today, lack of honesty and truth are the major problems we face in International Relations and Development. Congratulations Nora!
