i shall be happy if you could include me in your circle of friends
I have a similar interest in training, evaluation and program design for education, relief and conflict related development programs. Lately I have been thinking about transitioning from my position at FEMA to a more international setting. Do you have any suggestions as to where I might apply my efforts? Feel free to reach me on linked in or at jakeladen@gmail.com.
Dear Paul,
You are among few of my friends in this group. I have to renew my membership since my previous one has been hacked. I have bloced my previous one. Please add your name in the new one. Thanks
Hi, peacemakers and peacebuilders, and friends of a violence free but conflict transforming Year 2008. The challenge this year for peacebuilder is not going to be how many conflicts they avoided, but how many conflicts they transformed to peacebuilding. African Projects for Peace and Love Initiatives is celebrating its 5th Anniversary (2003-2008). We will be celebrating in the United States where we have our International networking headquarters, and across Africa, especially in Nigeria where we have our continental.
The ceremonies of our Fifth Anniversary kicked off at Goshen in Elkhart County of Indiana yesterday, January 19. The theme of our Fifth Anniversary is "May God Give the Gift of Good Leadership to Africa." Nation wide breakfast prayer meetings will be held to pray to God for the gift of good leadership to Africa. I will be speaking at some of those prayer meetings laying on the table our 20 Year Long Tomorrow Peacebuilding Program for Africa, beginning with Nigeria as our pilot and model field. If you wish to participate in the breakfast prayer meetings, please contact me at oyeyemiappli@sbcglobal.net or telephone me at 708-647-9880. You can also call or contact our Nigeria office at applinig@yahoo.com, telephone No. +234-1792-8774.
It is all about conversation. We want to change the conversation of the world with respect to unpeace in Africa. We want to uproot legacies that feed violence in Africa. We want to plant new seeds of peace and grow new trees of peaebuildings for the African. The African, not just Africa is our goal. If you build the African, he/she will rebuild Africa from her ruins.
Please join us as kick the debate rolling in Year 2008.
May Peace Prevail on Earth. May the Legacy of Hatred and Violence Disappear from the Earth! May the Legacy of Peace and Love Come in Its Place.
Thanks for friend invite! I'd love more OD contacts - I'm a professor and a lot of my students are interested. In addition, I do organizational Cr and have always thought there was a lot of useful ways the two fields could support each other
