Our main aim is to reduce on the high levels of poverty, famine and poor health that is affecting the rural poor communities in Uganda. We train and support the rural poor to start Small Sustainable Household Income Generating Activities in order to avoid famine, poverty and poor health especially malnutrition in children.
In our health focus, we deal in HIV/AIDS, Malaria and TB awareness and prevention measures. These are the major killer diseases in Uganda which kills a hundreds of nationals on the every day basis.
I joined this net work and it’s a nice network, I would also want to be your friend on this network.
Dear Dolma, such a pleasure to meet you. Especially at this moment, seeing you are working with His Holiness I am forever grateful for his letter of support to our gathering in Costa Rica - the 4th Global Summit for Ministries and Departments of Peace www.gasummit.org
A letter from us in appreciation will find its way today to His Holiness.
A deep bow for your work. Corina
Re. peace studies .. I am also looking for a MA and scholarships and I'd be happy to forward you what I find. UPeace is indeed a great place to study and yet there are so many other programmes ... it matters what you would like to deepen your study in.

Hi Dolma, nice to know you here on this site. Regarding Upeace, I am a dual campus international peace studies student, and right now I'm in the Philippines campus as I've done with the courses in Costa Rica campus. I will graduate in this October. I would say study at Upeace is fantastic, enjoyable and memorable! Are you a student at Upeace now?
Dear Dolma, I am honoured to have a member of the Tibetan nonviolent struggle among my friends on the network. Keep up the important work! Best, Stellan Vinthagen
I am so happy for your friendship. I wish you and every Tibetan the very best, now and always. While your culture and spirituality has enriched the whole world, your suffering is still a source of concern... Your cause will find a solution. Please let me know how can I be of help, now and in the future.
Thanks for the friendship and welcome to the "International Peace and Conflict" group! As a non-profit consultant, I've found this network to be a great resource for grants and opportunities as well as meeting new people : ) .
As an Israeli, peace and conflict resolution very central to my heart as well. Hope to talk to you soon!
HI Dolma
Thanks for the very kind comments and words. I would appreciate if you could let others know about the network and look forward to learning more about your activities.
