Thank you very much indeed for adding me as your friend and kind words.
I would love to do as you express. Let me see if I can contribute in your Magazine.
Let's keep in touch to share and exchange information, ideas, knowledge and learning etc.
Thank you for the invitation to become your friend. I am delighted to accept. You have already received my World Citizenship Creed. When you have opportunity please check out my website, www.peacebuildinginstitute.org, and think about ways in which we might collaborate.
One possibility that would be of help to me, would be the translation of the Creed into Norwegian. For your convenience, I add it here:
WORLD CITIZENSHIP CREED
As a citizen of the world...
I BELIEVE in the dignity of all humanity, that each person is a being of supreme worth.
I BELIEVE in the wholeness of the human race, undivided by economic, cultural, racial, sexual or national differences.
I BELIEVE in the stewardship of life and resources to the end that all may mutually benefit from the earth's bounty and that no person may have to go without food or shelter.
I BELIEVE in the primacy of human relationships as a person committed and responsible to other persons, regardless of their economic status, race, creed or nationality.
I BELIEVE in the global community, interdependent and mutually responsible for our physical and social environments.
I BELIEVE that we are One World and affirm that I am a citizen of this world. My allegiance to it and its people, my brothers and sisters, is primary over all other political entities.
I AM, therefore, committed to the promotion and care of the whole of humanity without partiality or prejudice and with such resources as I have at my command, both within and without.
I HEREWITH AFFIRM that I wish, as much as I possibly can, to base my actions on my beliefs and thus contribute to a world where justice and compassion rule and where greed and hatred are diminished.
One further possibility: I will shortly be in receipt of a book, written in Norwegian by John Bosco Ngendakurio. I do not know whether it is in Bokmal or in Nynorsk. I have expertise in neither. It is a biographical treatment of a Burundian/Norwegian's peace journey which I think may have relevance for a wider audience. If I have the author send you a copy, could you evaluate its relevance and advise me if it should be translated into English for publication? I will need your postal address to send to him if you wish to look at it.
That sounds interesting.Actually many people quoted that text from one of my chapters and books, and my webmaster posted in on the web site, and I love it.I even never thought that it would be of inspiration to someone, since it was part of my thousands words and articles.
Sure, we can do something arround it.What do you think?
I miss Norway after few months:(
Interesting...Keep on Caroline...
