What's Happening In Conflict Resolution [01.22.13]
Giuseppe Leone- Thanks to the kind cooperation of 3 mediators – Dan Simon, Lisa Jacobs, and Ben Davies – who participate in our project Virtual Mediation Lab, today we did something that could benefit HR managers and mediators worldwide.
We ran and video recorded an online mediation via Skype for a workplace discrimination dispute - between an employee and her supervisor - with a mediator (Dan) trained and experienced in “transformative” mediation.
By watching our 72-min video, HR managers can therefore see how a neutral mediator can help supervisors and employees communicate and, hopefully, resolve their workplace dispute.
FINRA launches small claims telephonic mediation pilot
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (Finra) announced today the launch of a pilot program offering parties in simplified cases pro bono or reduced-fee telephone mediation.
2013 ACR EPP Section Conference Call for Proposals
The conference will be held on May 21-22, 2013 at American University in Washington DC . The theme this year is Dialogue in an Era of Divisiveness. We know our members have a lot to share on this topic, and we encourage you to submit a proposal. Please note that the proposal deadline of February 15 is just a month away. Specifics about what should be included in your proposal and where to send it are detailed in the Call for Proposals document.

ODR: Theory and Practice (2012) edited by Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Dan Rainey and Ethan Katsh, has been selected to receive CPR Institute's prestigious Annual Book Award.
