International Seminar “Background and basis of prevention orientated conflict analysis” JLU Gießen, Germany (November 20th – 29th, 2009)

The international seminar „Background and basis of prevention orientated conflict analysis“ will take place in November 2009 at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany. The group will be composed of 40 participants. There are 20 places available for international students.

M.A. and PhD students studying International Relations, Political Science, Journalism, Law from Georgia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan interested in Peace and Conflict studies, can apply for a full scholarship to participate in the international seminar.

The international seminar is divided into four blocks:

The culture of conflict prevention
International conflict prevention
Integrative conflict transformation
Perspectives for implementation and cooperation

Interested students can apply immediately!

The following documents are to be attached to the applications:
Letter of motivation
CV with photo
Last university certification

The seminar will be held in English therefore English language skills will be, besides professional qualities and personal motivation, one of the selection criteria for participation.
