Volunteering is one of the top 10 New Year’s resolutions every year. Over the 2.5 years that I have been a member of PCDN, I have been endlessly impressed with the community- our commitment to peace is inspiring and seeing so many people working towards a common goal keeps me motivated in my work and life.
In the spirit of New Years, I recently submitted an application to help a local food bank evaluate the effectiveness of some of their programs. Keeping PCDN’s Guide to Service Learning in mind, what kinds of resolutions have you made this year to help others? I would love to hear about what others are doing, so post your goals in the comments below!

I bet the foodbank will find an evaluation very informative. My resolution is to work on spreading the words of my blog, engagingpeace.com, in which i share social science research and theory regarding war and peace, promote activism, and provide role models of morally engaged people working on behalf of peace and social justice.
