To celebrate International Women’s Day on Friday 8th March, Pax Populi is developing a campaign entitled, “Be Inspired”. Our campaign objective is to showcase the different roles Afghan women play within their society and raise awareness for our continual support of women’s rights and equality within Afghanistan.
While we understand Afghan women still face many challenges, we believe this is an opportunity to help people break away from the stereotypes they may have of these women and show them as the courageous role models they are, not only to Afghan men and woman but to others around the world.
To aid us in this objective, we are reaching out to other organisations and individuals working for a peaceful Afghanistan and asking if you would like to be involved in our efforts.
The Pax Populi team are therefore looking for people to answer a few questions on Afghan Women & the roles they play in Afghan society. We are also looking for people to take part in our “My International Women's Day Dream for Afghanistan is...” initiative.
The responses to these questions will be highlighted on the Pax Populi website and Facebook page, with the aim of engaging others to think about and support the development of women’s equality within Afghanistan.
If you’re interested in being involved please just message us.
