Haiti Sings: Talented Artists Perform For Peace!

This summer, Peacetones traveled to Port-au-Prince and heard the music and stories of Haiti’s talented yet unknown artists.

19 musicians were selected from over 50 open auditions to participate in Peacetones' online music contest, Haiti Sings.

We gave a free legal and marketing workshop for the artists, providing information on basic contract formation, IP rights, and online social networks. Then, we recorded videos of their original music and stories to share online with you.

International viewers can hear their voices and select their favorite artists through the Peacetones Facebook page. The last round of voting, ends December 10th.
The contest winner will perform live with Tabou Combo in New York City and record an album released by Peacetones.

Every musician who shared his or her talent through Haiti Sings has a unique message of peace and story of resilience. Please, visit the Peacetones website to
learn more about Haiti Sings. We also have our videos on the Peace and Collaborative Network.

To give a talented, young Haitian artist the chance to perform in New York City help us earn $4,000 by December 22nd through Global Giving.
