Is God such an unattainable external manifestation that we need to separate ourselves from and glorify? By giving “GOD” such an altitude, is our mind tricking us to distance from the same “GOD” as unattainable? By binding “GOD" in such multiple complex concepts are we making an unnecessarily entangled bundle that cannot be easily untangled?
Water will remain the same whatever shape of bottle we fill it in. You fill it in simple shaped bottle or an intricately designed bottle, its essential quality remains the same, though it appears to adapt the shape of the frame work provided by the bottle.
The conditioned need of the mind to yearn for abstract intricate concepts is in itself a barrier to realize "GOD". It is like this- Imagine there are two ways to reach a destination; one is a simple straight way, while the other is a complicated maze. Which one would you choose? The straight road, or the complicated maze? It is your call! Choose wisely and smartly.

Comment by Sahana Madhyastha on January 28, 2013 at 11:14am There is a saying in Sanskrit that goes like this: "jnanam Bandhanam" which means Knowledge is bondage. If knowledge is used as one of the aids to travel towards self-realization , it is fine. However, considering it as an end itself can be an obstacle. For instance imagine that you use a ladder to reach a certain height. After reaching there, if you insist that you want to carry that ladder with you, won't that be burdensome ans useless. :)
