49) http://www.Stopgenocidenow.org/ A $10 Award Donation was paid to Stop Genocide Now.org
Stop Genocide Now
Any individual, group or organization working to prevent genocide is a winner to me. This is a serious problem for humanity that we must all come together to stop. Anyone in the world is at risk of becoming a victim of a mass atrocity for one reason or another. Humanity must use education, the legal system and all non violent means to eradicate this problem from ever taking place again any where on Earth. Unfortunately it has been happening over and over again throughout human history. I honored as many organizations as I could find so far. I will search for a few more soon and add them to the list.
There are many fine books and documentaries about preventing genocide. If we educate ourselves as to how we can all get involved and play a meaningful part in the effort to prevent and end genocide we will create a much safer place here on Earth. We should all ban together to try to stop atrocities when ever possible. We have to encourage dialogue and negotiations not fighting and killing. We have to try to have problems solved in different ways.
Please join me in support the organizations that are working to prevent and end genocide. I am making a small donation to each of them. Please support them in any way you can either financially, with your time and effort and pass the word about about their important work. I donated approximately $250 to winners that I have nominated to be into the contest. The funds were divided up among all organizations in small award donations varying from $5-$10-$18 to $100.
Please feel free to help increase this award by donating funds to any organization through their website and let us know about your ward gift donation if you would like. These organizations are wonderful, needed and very helpful. I wish that I had $10 Million to give each one of them but for now until we can raise more funding for them I will donate my own money to each one of them that accepts donations and encourage more and more people and businesses to do the same. We must invest our money in peace and the end of genocide, hunger, disease and the other problems that exist on Earth.
