10 Day Indepth International Residential Training on Nonviolent Communication in Sri Lanka from Feb 2-12, 2012

We are excited to announce our upcoming 10 day international residential training from Feb 2-12th, 2012 in a beautiful retreat centre bordering Bolgoda lake in Sri Lanka.

We have an impressive array of international trainers with many years of experience in Nonviolent  Communication (aka as NVC)  as well as specialties in applying NVC in varied contexts such as healing and reconciliation, diversity management, education and more.

This training will bring together a community of people who are committed to embodying the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in their own lives and sharing it with others. Residential trainings enable greater depth than non-residential trainings, thereby contributing to a deeper sense of community. It’s also a rare opportunity to learn from international trainers with many years of wide ranging experience.

Beginners will learn basics of NVC as well having opportunity to practice NVC conflict resolution skills. Those with NVC background will be able to deepen their understanding & skills. Everyone will be supported to apply it in their work or life context. The training is designed to meet all the different learning needs of participants.

I would like to go!   I would like to help develop a simulation game that students around the world could become involved with to show the horrors of war, and how the people of Sri Lanka can make a future for themselves.
