Resource Guides to Careers, Academic Programs, Networking, Events, Research, Funding (and more) in Peacebuilding, International Development and Related Fields

Please note that this site is designed to provide networking and sharing of promising practices. Individuals are not allowed to post their individual requests to find jobs as the site would deluged and there are other websites that do provide this service. However, we have developed several short guides to careers, academic programs, funding, research, teaching resources, practice in peacebuilding, international development, human rights and related fields. In addition, there are several guides for how to use and manage your Peace and Collaborative Development Network Account. Please feel free to suggest additional resources for each guide and ideas for new themes and check back periodically as new guides are being developed.
The links to the guides (grouped by theme) are provided below:

This is an an incredible compilation of resources and materials- thank you! I would love to see information on undergraduate studies in the field as well though, so that those staring the studies early may complete the undergraduate studies in order to then move on to graduate studies!

We certainly have a huge obligation in building peaceful communities that co-exist in mutually empowering and reinforcing community linkages and synergies. From the domestic feuds over grazing fields, politically motivated ethnic skirmishes to conflicts over control of resources......we human beings remain the single most obstacle to the realization of sustainable peace. As peacemakers we take the lead step in this direction....today for tomorrow may too late.

Good work shall be highly rewarded. We are going to reward the network by contributing meaningfully as well inviting friends and colleagues from other networks. Colleagues working on DISASTER RISK REDUCTION all over the World can as well JOIN a DRR Club assisting experts and vulnerable communities to reduce the risk of disasters.Visit www.drrclub.ning.com

These lists are very helpful.I am striving against the poverty in Haiti, the poorest country in the Americas.By the way, I am asking to all members of this network who were or are implied in the Haiti situation to send me some notes about this implication.
