Anniversary of the XIV Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo (1984)
Exactly 28 years ago the XIV Winter Olympic Games were held in former Yugoslavia. The Games were one of the last opportunities for this federal, diverse, country to unify around a common goal and present itself to the world in a good light. As we know, it did not help prevent the horrific events of the 1990s to destroy the beautiful city.
