NEPAL'S 'LATE NATIONALIST' REVOLUTION: THORNY ROAD AHEAD

Nepal is going through a ‘late nationalist’ revolution. Just like those states that experienced the birth pangs of nationhood, Nepal is expected to pass through the same thorny road.
For a long time in their lives, the Nepalese were accustomed to regarding their King as the sovereign of the land. The King was the unifying symbol of all aspects of life in the Kingdom, and this was already a step ahead of its former state.

BLACKS HOPELESSLY LESS SMARTER? TRY YOGA TO INCREASE INTELLIGENCE

The recent news about Watson, the American Nobel prize biologist, claiming that Blacks are less smarter than Whites due to genetic factors, comes as a real shock to me. I can’t believe that a 20th century post-war scientist would declare such highly destructive, bigoted contention.

MALAYSIA'S INTERNAL SQUABBLES AND MANILA'S PEACE TALKS

In a previous article, this writer noted the sudden withdrawal of the Malaysian peace team that was brokering the GRP-MILF peace talks (GRP = Government of the Republic of the Philippines, MILF = Moro Islamic Liberation Front).
