The UN HABITAT Urban Youth Fund will this year provide one million dollars
to projects led by young people aged 15-32 years who are piloting

Women's activists have marked November 25 as a day against violence since 1981. On December 17, 1999, the United Nations General Assembly designated 25 November as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (Resolution 54/134). Next year early in June the "9th FORUM ON NEW TECHNOLOGIES OF INFORMATION &
COMMUNICATION APPLIED TO CONFLICT RESOLUTION", will be held in Buenos Aires,
Argentina, being the first Conference of this kind that will take place in a
Spanish speaking country.
The Forum is organized by the National Center for Technology
and Dispute Resolution of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst
