Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
My country Nepal, which was once called Zone of Peace was on violent conflict for more than a decade. We suffered a lot. There was a climate of uncertainty. Our everyday life was affected. but we have a peace agreement and looking to develop our nation with joint effort. At the same time i could study other part of the globe are also passing through intrastate violent conflicts for long years. It was a good lesson though for us to learn about our responsibilities towards safer and peace world.
I then decided to devote myself to work for common good and involve voluntarily with the peace working organizations. Through these all years i was opened to most elements of the conflicts and hope for peace. I joined other organizations too to support peace building.
I realized that i could help other joining hands to make this world a peaceful and beautiful place for our child and generations to come.
I am highly motivated to restore peace in my best.
