Hi Nancy,
I was so pleased to read your heartfelt opinion towards humanity. I am too happy to be your friend. You must be more learned and resourceful person than me however I am also doing my level best for the safety and humanity in my country.

My country which lies in between two big nation India and China. Nepal is a country having Mt. Everest, also a birth place of Lord Buddha. It's a beautiful Himalayan country. We are too rich in bio-diversity but due to political instability, poverty and lack of public awareness, we have been lying very backward in the world.

Mostly people here are farmers. large number of children and women are being trafficked to India and other countries for bonded labor and prostitution. Rule of law is still ignored here. There are almost 25000 Moist rebels combatants in their cantonments which is kept under the vigilance of UNMIN, and it's supposed to merge in national Nepal army. The army integration process is also a challenge here.

Nancy, as you said about children and women, the same miserable condition of them lie here. A big effort to uplift them is required here. Anyway, we are doing some good to them.

Cheers

Binod from Kathmandu, Nepal
