Career enhancement through Masters in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies from Cambodia, and Graduate Certificate in Conflict Transformation Across Cultures from USA made me more professional in conflict transformation, sensitivity and peace-building. My professional growth is shapping myself as a head of Peace Department in Caritas Nepal. With Caritas Nepal the framework for integrating conflict sensitivity into the project, program cycle and mainstreaming the conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding took abundence initiatives. The initiatives were also with development and humanitarian support programs. Considering the need of building capacity of NGOs, civil society and government organisation, I am facilitating TOT and trainings on conflict sensitivity, conflict transformation, negotiation, peace program monitoring and evaluation and risk management. I believe that my experience and education will make me a very competitive candidate for the position. The key strengths that I possess for the success in this position include:
• Developed and Implemented 14 Peace Programs in 36 districts of Nepal
• Applied conflict sensitivity at project and program level defining it in the project cycle, linking the conflict analysis to each constituent step of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
• Develop the framework for integrating conflict sensitivity into the programming cycle and mainstream it with other development and humanitarian support programs within Caritas Nepal and its network.
