ICAR is committed to the development of theory, research and practice that interrupt cycles of violence. It is a community of scholars, graduate and undergraduate students, alumni, practitioners and organizations in the field of conflict resolution.
Some are better than others & 10 blocks is now out of print. I'm not sure about the others. I typically have students use a framework, like spitcerow, and apply theories in examining the cases for their own projects.

It depends on what you're looking for. I use a number of journalistic accounts as case study books for my classes. They don't use any theory, which allows for students to apply theories and frameworks to the cases for group projects or term papers.…
