Profile Information

Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs): An idea that germinated from the seed of deep-seated interest and intrigue in the field of International Law, A38 started as an endeavour to provide quality and free information on International Law. In the course of our research for various activities at Law School, we realized the severe dearth of quality information available to the researching student with limited resources in different aspects of International Law. We believed we could bridge this gap with an online journal devoted to the intricate weft of concepts, subjects and fields under the ambit of International Law. In the process, we hope to offer up a forum to the world of academia that would enable the creation of an environment for the furtherance of intellectual pursuits consequent to a global exchange of ideas, dissemination of information and copious debate on topical issues in International Law. The name of the Consultancy and the Journal stands for Article Thirty Eight, which is the specific provision under the Statute of the International Court of Justice that enumerates the "sources of International Law". The Journal is essentially an endeavour to carve a niche in cyberspace, to establish an immersion centre of sorts and a hotbed of discussion and academic development. In a bid to offer quality over quantity, the journal will operate as a Quarterly Publication.
