Hi Kristin,

Since joining the PCDN, I have been looking through the Member Directory, to discover bridge building and information sharing possibilities which might be particularly relevant to my work, and/or the work of others.

Having discovered information about both the IIPE, and the Peacebuilding Peacelearning Intensive from your page, (and having read “She was co-chair for the Unitarian Universalist Peacemaking Curriculum working group which created a comprehensive guidebook…” etc.), I felt it would be a good idea to introduce myself, with the idea of opening up lines of communication.

My work is building The Interfaith Peacebuilding and Community Revitalization (IPCR) Initiative (website since 2005, at www.ipcri.net ). I recently completed a 425 page document titled “The IPCR Workshop Primer” (accessible for free), which is an introduction to the potential of The IPCR Initiative.

“The IPCR Workshop Primer” (425 pages) is a resource guide for facilitators of IPCR Workshops, and a resource guide for participants in IPCR Workshops. “The IPCR Workshop Primer” advocates for Community Visioning Initiatives, "Community Teaching and Learning Centers" with ongoing workshops, and "sister community" relationships as a way of generating an exponential increase in our collective capacity to overcome the challenges of our times—and includes a summary piece “The Twilight of One Era, and the Dawning of Another”. (The “… Twilight…” piece highlights the role of education and the need for “teacher-leaders”, and provides many ideas for how to re-energize constructive, practical, and solution-oriented discussion, and promote new approaches to partnership formation and coalition building).

Maybe there is something in “The IPCR Workshop Primer”, or at The IPCR website, which will be helpful to your work. I would appreciate any comments you’d be willing to share.

With Kind Regards,

Stefan Pasti, Founder and Outreach Coordinator
The IPCR Initiative

Hi Kristin,
I got stranded in NY due to the snowstorm and never made it to the Peace Academy event. Fortunately Brent is there with you, Dot and the gang, so The Peace Company and Peace Leadership Institute is represented in the founder's circle and ready to help. I look forward to hearing the highlights and connecting with you on future emails, meetings, and calls.
Peace & Blessings,
Kimberly

Dear friend
Violance, war, conflicts, sufferings my desire to see world in peace and non violance has motivated me to join this network."Vasudev kutukbkam" entire world as a family, this was a teaching of our culture and traditional.we created countries, boundries, religions, cast, race for a genuine reason or a false reasons for any reason.but this the time to realise that we are one and we naturaly interconected with each other ,which we can just realise by watching inhale and exhale of breaths the source is same ,without any descrimanation, religion, bonundries, equaly for all living life of universe .When we understand this simple thing then we must understand how our and other's life is equaly important, valuble ,respectable .we should follow the nature's rule ,non violance .peace ,god has given us a human life not for destruction but for lookafter the wellbeing of all living life.
i shall be happy if you could include me in your circle of friends
