Hello Joshua.

Do keep me posted on your progress with setting up your organizational effort to connect with the youth of Uganda. The students in the Master's degree program that I direct must complete a substantial internship as part of their degree requirements. Some of our students wish to work in an overseas context. Perhaps there will be opportunities for them to be involved as interns in support of your efforts. I would also be interested in working with some of your youth as your organization is established, though I can't promise that I will have the time or resources to be able to participate. Last May, I was in Kenya (Kisumu) to help set up an internship opportunity for two of our students and while there I spent a few days in Kampala. I have a friend and regular correspondent who lives in Kampala and who is from northern Uganda. This is my only experience in East Africa. I am, to that degree, familiar with the challenges that youth face in Kenya and Uganda.
I look forward to hearing about the progress of CEHRID as it becomes established.
