Ok, I will help with what I can. Please tell me more why you are interested in nonviolence, what kind of "nonviolence" do you mean and send me some of your work on this field. Thanks.

Thank you so much for your comment, Imran. I must finish this film first, but of course I oppose the US attacks in Pakistan and everywhere. Perhaps that will be the next film!

Great. Please keep in touch and feel free to ask if you have any questions of which I may help. My mother went trekking in Nepal when she was 60 and said it changed her life. Enjoy your time there when you can and all the best in your work. - Chris

Hello.

It seems we share some common interests so I wanted to make my introduction. I'm Chris from New Orleans. I'm studying Comparative legal systems at Tulane Law School and am very interested in Human Rights and Mediation and Negotiation. Given our common interests it would be good to start communication so we can refer to each other for advice in the future. Please take a minute to view my page and leave a message if you like.

peace.

Dear Imran,

I hope you got to see the video on women - it's not so much on women's rights, but on the importance of women's input into peace negotiations.

I'm happy you are helping to defend women who are victims of "honor" retaliations, etc. Things are not perfect here in the US but we do have a lot more freedom than in a lot of countries.

Dear Imran,

Thanks for adding me to your friends list. I love that you are working in Human Rights, and were able to get financial support for your Master's degree program in Thailand from RWI/SIDA Sweden! I appreciate that you included gender in your interests, as I joined the network after viewing the video on Women in Peacebuilding that Craig Zelizer posted on the site. I particularly liked the idea that the Manilla woman shared that it's not just any woman that needs to be on peacemaking teams but women who embody the values of caring for all - and that this extends to men on the teams as well. I would enjoy hearing your response to this video if you ever get a chance to view it.
