Michelle Lee Rosenthal, LMSW said… Since you both are in Bethlehem PA and have access to the students at the university where you teach would you consider organizing an event where you are. If you have access to an auditorium or large enough lecture hall to accommodate the guests and speakers you can organize an event there. You can invite 100 guests and film the speakers or show existing Talks. If you connect with a person who has attended a TED event in person and that person applies for the licence then there is no limit to the number of guests that could attend the event. I am encouraging the establishment of these events all around the world on Peace One Day.
I will inform you if my event gets organized and if you would like to assist in any way you are more than welcome or just to come as a guest to listen.
I am seeking a space that I can get for free to hold my event in NYC Since I would prefer not to charge an admission fee. There is a lot of Red Tape so I hope I will find a place to house my event. For the first time I may just show the existing Ted Talks rather than film new speakers. I will kep you posted. If you have some contacts in NYC in reference to a free space for only about 100 people on 9/21 from 9 am to 9pm I would appreciate the info.
I do not know if TED will grant the license so another option is to organize an event in support of Peace One Day on 9/21. Please see www.peaceoneday.org

Michelle Lee Rosenthal, LMSW said… Hi, Thanks for writing to me on my blog. Thanks for offering your support. If you can help me get these tedx conferences about how humanity can go Peaceful to be organized in other areas by various groups ie students, peaceful organizations etc it may be helpful. If you know of anyone who may be interested in speaking on the topic in NYC on 9/21/12 for up to 18 minutes please let me know. Thanks, Michelle
