September 30, 2015 at 10am to October 30, 2015 at 6pm
COURSE DESCRIPTIONIn today’s competitive, pressure-packed world, there’s no stronger imperative than to “get things done” – many things, and in increasingly limited amounts of time. For many organisations, the daily challenge is meeting goals and managing the projects that seem to rise in direct proportion to the falloff of available time. How can project managers and organisations defend against and conquer the onslaught of projects that advances more ruthlessly with each passing day? One way…See More

Hello,
My name is Matt Pierson and I am an Peace and Conflict Resolution masters student. It seems that you have a lot of experience working with throughout Africa. I am trying to find some sort of internship in Africa this summer but have so far not been too succesful in my search. I was wondering if you had any suggestions of places or organizations that I might try contacting?
Any help would be appreciated,
Matt Pierson

Hello Prince,

Thanks for the invite. Recently we held a workshop with our participants called Epilogues, developed in Northern Ireland around the themes of violence, loss, revenge, forgiveness, justice and human rights. It was powerful because the whole frame of the programme used Human Rights as its basis, i.e. how people interacted and treated each other in the workshhops etc. So human rights became a living breathing thing throughout the learning. Brilliant.

Anyway, hello.

Sarah

Thanks Lynn,

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UDHR is the basis for the fundamental achievement of peace and freedom for all in our society today. It is only when the people are fully aware of their basic human rights will corruption, injustice stop. My next course on "Human Rights Leadership Development & Training" is now open for application. Check it out at http://justicegroup.org/training/application.

Talk to you later.

Greetings Prince. Thank you for the message. I will look at your training program. I teach a LL.M. seminar on the use of restorative justice in international human rights abuse matters, and a significant portion of my students are foreign trained lawyers. The first class we discuss, at some length, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and I give out "pocket size" copies. I tell them that I wish for a day when it is a universal tradition to read the UDHR on New Years Day!

Stay in touch, Lynn
