What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?

since conflicts are inevitable, to contribute in my own way to transforming them peacefully and nonviolently

i work as a zonal disaster management officer for the Nigerian Red Cross incharge of the most volatile and unpredictable zone called the niger delta. i studied English for my first degree and Humanitarian & Refugee studies for my 2nd degree. I was a volunteer before joining the Red Cross Movement 3years ago as a paid staff, i ve done quite a number of courses locally and internationally on disaster management, IHL, Peace and Conflict studies, Good Governance and peace building
