What strikes me is that for every mortar and bullet that fell in Gaza, there were ten times for examples of bravery and love for fellow human beings. What I thought was going to be a depressing exercise has taught me a lot and I have found it very uplifting.

I hope you can help. I am writing a case study on the work of the ICRC (and Palestinian Red Crescent Society) in Gaza. I can get facts and figures from the internet, but I want to hear your thoughts on their work. Are you able to say briefly what your impression of the ICRC/PRCS is? Do you know of anyone they have helped? What would the recent situation have been like without them?
