Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I first become involved in peace and conflict resolution when I did my research for Master degree in Development Planning and Management. My research was center around the interrelation between Conflict and Development and how it can be constructively prevent and manage through conflict sensitive planning of development process.
Conflict has always been seen detrimental for development process; life lost, destroyed infrastructures, economic and development activities halt, etc. However, the solution to it highly rest on security approach rather than searching avenues for constructive management of it and even turn it into something positive for development.
I have since work on mainstreaming conflict sensitivity into development process, not only in conflict prone countries but also for relatively secure country. This I do by doing research, conducting training and workshop and assisting local and national government in preparing their Conflict Sensitive Development Plan.

Dear Yuliani
Lasting peace must come from within for each person is born free to think ands choose.
No matter who might forbid it man is intellect and will and his essence cannot change.

Obsvious eliminations expose the truth that peace can never be in one human's control. Man’s essence mirrors a creator capable of supreme mystery therefore interior union with the Supreme intellect and will must be the establishment of peace that is lasting unto everlasting

We need peace in Nigeria, African, Asia, Middle East, and the world over for this world to be a batter place
Have a nice day
Prince Korieocha
