Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
Frightening events like the Cuban Missile Crisis on the nuclear level, and futile events like the Vietnam War on the conventional level, and hope that people can change.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I am a retired teacher of art and art history who has been a volunteer for Beyond War (beyondwar.org) since 1984. I now serve on its Board and have published a book, available on Amazon or from my publisher, Orbis Press, called "Living Beyond War: A Citizen's Guide." I have led numerous seminars on war, conflict and change and written editorials for a series of national newspapers.

I spent a year teaching English language at a Greek independent school in 1962-63.
