Hello Waris,

Thank you for the friend invite. I may be coming to Pakistan in 2011 to do some work with Just Peace International so it would be great to meet you then and learn more about your organization.

Warmly,

Hi Waris,
I agree with you completely. The culture of hatred has to stop. My interest is to understand how to stop indoctrination of youth to violence. It has been my dream to work with in this effort with collegues from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka.

What is really interesting and a very nice thing, is to see so many people from countries like Pakistan, who are involved in peacemaking efforts. What the Western world, and America in particular is sold is a media story about how people in countries such as Pakistan etc, are all terrorists, oppressive and live in caves. I'm looking forward to learning more, and broadening my perspective from this site and the contacts I can make here. The sentiments expressed on this site are such a welcome breath of fresh air in the world we seem to be living in today.
