Victor Asiedu research is on community-based reintegration of ex-combatants in Sierra Leone.

He received his MBA and MSc degree in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester. With particular reference to his MSc degree his dissertation was on the growth of the contract private security firms in the UK.

Prior to his academic pursuit, Victor served in the Ghana Army as an artillery officer and held various posts including unit adjutant, intelligence officer, and battery commander. He served on a number of UN peacekeeping operations in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Lebanon.

Victor is passionate about security, conflict resolution, and peace-building. His hobbies include football, long tennis, and reading.
