What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
Developing personal inner peace and from that center, extending ourselves to co-create peace in the world around us is essential to healing the problems of our world.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
As an organizational leader and speaker, Valerie Baker-Easley has crafted inner peace in a variety of environments. Her career includes leadership of healthcare and homelessness organizations as well as program management for a Fortune 500 corporation. She has manned the helm of organizations facing crisis in their industries – physicians facing the relentless advance of HMOs in the 90’s and the high tech industry through its early 2000’s tailspin – using personal peace as a platform to promote stability and productivity in times of upheaval.
She holds a BA in Sociology and Gender Studies, highlighting the bases of human behavior and the dynamics of gender in our culture.
